What is World Skills 2009?World Skills http://www.worldskills2009education.com/ Check it out. The first 30 students in Grades 10 to 12 with their consent forms in will get to travel to Calgary on September 2 to watch 900 competitors from 40 countries compete in 51 trade skills events. This is the Olympics of the trades. If you are wondering what you would like to be "when you grow up", this would be a great opportunity for you to see many options for your future. There is a "Try a Skill" pavillion that will allow you to test your own skills throughout the day as you watch other young people demonstrate their talents. This is the biggest event of its kind in the world. | |
