Palliser and Coalhurst Shooting Stars Ra

Staff and students from Palliser Regional Schools and Coalhurst High School raised $3233.00 for The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 11-12th. This was our seventh year in the event, and over those seven years we have raised over $15,000 for cancer research and support for patients in the Southern Alberta area. Special thanks to our team sponsors: Palliser Regional Schools, Palliser ATA Local #19, the Coalhurst Legion, Lenz Auction, and the University of Lethbridge Faculty of Education. Our all night walk was highlighted by a concert from Coaldale's Theo Tams, who autographed the shirts of our CHS students. Thank-you to all Palliser and CHS staff who sponsored out team this year.
