This is my sixth year teaching at Coalhurst High School and I absolutely love it. Growing up in small town British Columbia, I was lucky to have had such a rich experience in the two community schools I was a part of. I knew all of my teachers, and they knew me (of course, everyone knew me - I was the only Minnesota North Stars fan in town, and my green and yellow Dino Ciccerelli jersey stood out among the acid washed jeans and tie-dyed T-Shirts the rest of my peers wore back then).
Fast forward to today, I have since met one other Stars fan - my daughter Madeline, who you see in the picture to the left. When not at CHS teaching Social Studies or CTS, you'll find me hanging out with my wonderful wife Jodi, our aforementioned daughter, and our brand-new baby boy (turns out he's a Stars fan too, go figure!) In my spare time, I am either on my lounger reading one of Chapters' top ten bestsellers or watching some grand, epic film at the movie theatre. If you're really lucky, you'll catch me performing some miraculous handyman feat in my home or yard, but if you're a betting person, it's probably best to assume I'm doing the lounging thing...
